A Montessori Triumph in New Orleans

School district officials in New Orleans, struggling to respond to Katrina, had a message for the community at Audubon School: It's over.

The school would not open this year and when it reopened, its two programs, a Montessori program and a French school, would be replaced by a standard district curriculum.
